At 17, I barely graduated from high school.
At 19, I was kicked off my college football team and out of college.
At 21, I was kicked off my second college football team. This time facing assault charges.
At 22, I was turned down by the NFL because I didn’t graduate college.
At 24, I was released from the UFL because I couldn’t stay healthy.
I lacked self-discipline, correct effort, and more importantly accountability for my actions.

I had to know what the best athletes did to consistently stay on the field and perform at a high level.
I became obsessed with strength and conditioning.
Over a 5 year period I would read over 50 books on athletic performance, obtain multiple certifications, and train thousands of youth athletes in the process.
Unlocking speed was my motivation.
I was a student again, and I fell in love with the process. I was learning more on athletic performance than I ever knew so every setback was a stepping stone.
From Southern California to Hawaii I worked with the top football, baseball, basketball, and soccer teams from high school to club.
I was committed to developing youth athletes because what I learned was the things I wished someone would have shown me when I was coming up.
I experienced real growth and it didn’t happen overnight. It took years of hard work, perseverance, and passion. I became more than the athlete I once was and I realized if I could change this late in life, imagine the impact of helping young athletes do it sooner.
In 2016 I built up enough momentum to open my first gym in Corona Ca. Offering speed, agility, strength, and nutrition programs to student athletes in the community.
In 2017, I started the BASS Private School – the only private middle school for student-athletes.

But to provide student athletes a path to reaching their potential through accountability, correct effort, and self discipline. Qualities I didn’t have, but desperately needed.
I made a commitment: Empower hardworking student athletes
Using sports as not a means to an end but as a tool for high achievement
As CEO of Bass Athletics, I’m proud that our programs have helped hundreds of young athletes continue competing through college.
Inside our gym, we focus on keeping athletes healthy, on the field, and educated on what fuels performance, from proper training to proper nutrition.
Today, 65% of our graduates continue their athletic careers in college. 84% percent enroll in college, and the remaining 16% step directly into their professional paths.
No matter the route, every student leaves with the discipline, confidence, and support to pursue their passion.
Every day, I share the principles that built my life: A commitment to continuous learning, self-discipline, accountability to results, and making sure your efforts are always moving toward your goals.
And I believe there are hundreds of thousands of student-athletes who just need the right coach, the right encouragement, and the right approach to reach their potential.
Thats why I do this. That’s why I show up every day.
When you’re ready to break through the noise and nonsense and take control of your child’s athletic development journey. I’m here to help you do it.
