ABCs of Youth Training

How long is a training session at Bass Gym?

Each training session at Bass Gym in Corona, CA is 90 minutes long. Every session includes 45 minutes of speed training focused on acceleration, agility, and movement mechanics, followed by 45 minutes of strength training to build power, endurance, and proper form.

How many sessions per week should my child attend?

For the best results, we recommend that athletes train at least twice per week. Consistency is key for developing athletic performance, coordination, and confidence. Many of our advanced athletes train three to four times per week depending on their goals and sports season.

What is the athlete-to-coach ratio in group training?

At Bass Gym, we maintain a 10-to-1 athlete-to-coach ratio to ensure personalized attention and proper instruction in every small-group session. This allows our coaches to focus on each athlete’s technique and progress while fostering a motivating, team-based training environment.

What should athletes wear or bring to training?

Athletes should wear comfortable athletic clothing and running shoes suitable for movement and agility work. Bring a refillable water bottle—we provide water at the facility. Please note that Gatorade or other sports drinks are not allowed inside the gym to help maintain a clean training environment.

Do you offer private training in addition to group sessions?

Yes. Private one-on-one training is available based on coach availability. Private sessions allow for highly personalized feedback and customized programming. To inquire about scheduling a private training session, please contact Bass Gym by phone or email for availability and pricing.
